Acknowledgements
Why I wrote this book:
I would like to first and foremost, acknowledge Hon. Prof. Amelia Wanderlingh, Minister Delegate for New York State of the International States Parliament for Safety and Peace, for her support and contribution in outlining the concerns of ballet dancers. After a number of intense discussions about the stresses, pressures and grave health concerns that ballet dancers face - I was inspired with Professor Amelia's encouragement and guidance to write this book that would offer healthy, natural, non-chemical, and psychological supporting practices to the dancers' main challenges.
Prof. Wanderlingh has a rich background as a professional prima ballerina herself: (*see her background below) she's a professor of ballet, currently teaching dance students internationally. She is also one of the founding members as well as serving as the Artistic Director for the *Vancliffen Arts Foundation - a non-profit charitable organization.
Along with providing me with a rich source of information about the artistry and discipline of ballet dancers, she was the principal stimulus and inspiration for me to produce a resource utilizing a natural approach, namely, herbs, good nutrition, energy psychology techniques and essential oils. All of these natural healthy ways are outlined in this book. Without Prof. Wanderlingh, this book would never have been written.
I heartily thank H.E. Senator Dr. Fernando Milelli, Ambassador at large for all American Nations of the International States Parliament for Safety and Peace for his support and vision in my writing of this book. As co-founder of Vancliffen Foundation, he believes in helping ballet dancers receive a much-needed start in proper food nourishment and natural health supportive care. His words of wisdom and encouragement are greatly appreciated. Of course, medical attention is always advised when needed.
